<< the leopard & the redfoot. Our kids like them both equally (we discussed the fact that they may need to take over care of them one day...) but my husband had a preference for the leopard, so that was what we got. How aggressive are red-foots, on average? >>
As you're learning, don't depend completely on what people tell you about torts! Redfoots are not typically aggressive, but you never know. The concern, with these two species, is that they're so different. They require completely different diets, temps, humidity requirements; as well as the HUGE size difference between these two. If you're thinking about more torts and want to keep it kind of simple, try torts more similar to your leopard. But, if you're willing to 'blaze new trails' go for a redfoot! If you do add another species to your tort collection, other than a leop, they should be kept completely separate from each other to eliminate spreading diseases. Good luck with your new tort. Leopards are so beautiful!
