Terry,
we plant a lot of different plants in our tortoise enclosure specifically for them to eat. We just weren't prepared for that enthusiastic a response! The plant is a Moss Rose or Portacula (Grandiflora). I believe that Ice Plants (Mesembryanthemum crystallinum or Sedum spectabilis) have a larger leaf structure and are more common out west. All three are considered good food for torts.
The plants that we want to keep to look nice around the yard, just don't get planted inside the tortoise enclosure. ;-)
