You should hardly be surprised. That is the position I have held and promoted for many years. I rather suspect your definition and my definition of "genuinely sustainable trade" differ substantially, however, Olaf!

For starters - I do not believe that the majority of species that you trade in can be collected from the wild in anything remotely approaching a sustainable manner. Sustainable trade must have many elements - and I see precious few of those elements in place within the context of your own activities.

Please feel free to correct me if I am mistaken.
