Yup, this is normal. If the animal is kept too dry this wrinkle will remain for quite a while. This is why I place my hatchling leopards in a deli cup with about 6 plies of moist paper towels. The moisture keeps the plastron from hardening while the flat, firm surface allows the plastron to flatten out.
