No matter what the reasons are for importing them into the USA, you are still very lucky to be able to get them. You are complaining in this forum that you do not want them, but here in South Africa we are not allowed to import them and keep them for breeders, pets, etc. nothing at all. You are still very lucky even at lower prices that you have the chance to keep them. We have no choice, we simply cannot keep any exotic tortoises.
