Get a grip here. Comprehend what was previously stated and relate it to chelonian population dynamics. How many fecund females can be taken from the wild before the population becomes functionally extinct???????? These things are getting eaten by both local peoples, exported to Japanese, European and now US pet markets and facing wholesale deforestation. The point is enough is enough. Just because certain neophyte breeders (?), could not initially afford them, do we now need to get to socialized tortoise keeping. What is next 9.99 Cuora trifasciata just to keep the freshemen happy.
Wealthy breeders as you call them, tend to be older, hence their wealth and guess what more experienced and successful. They do not need care sheets.
As yours are doing "great" and most others reportedly are, this is a very good thing. There just needs to be enough left in the wild.
