yeah, the plastic bottle is there just the first
day I form it, I use 3 bags of timothy hay I get
in Wal-mart, it has to be fairly dry, any fresh
stuff just collapses. But this timothy hay does
really well, just have to lay it over and fluff
it out a bit, plus I mix a tiny bit of the aspen
into it (only a handful or two - and that's not
even necessary). Then I stick my arm all the way
in there after removing the bottle (grace! no
pictures of this part lol!) and kinda gently press
down from the top and sides and voila! tunnel
formation, that holds it's shape!
Teddy walks in and out and it doesn't mess up.
He seems to like it a lot, and it seems like a
birdnest that fell out of a tree or something that
he's using for a hide.
I think the trick is the hay type, dry stiff hay
will work. He doesn't eat this stuff.
You can make the hay hide different sizes too.
