Swiss Chard (from the Chenopodiacea family) contains high levels of Oxalic acid which interferes with the tortoises ability to absorb calcium.
Spinach and rhubarb are also too high in Oxalic acid to feed to torts, infact rubarb contains an extremely high level of Oxalic acid and should never be fed.
I personaly wouldn't feed swiss chard to my torts.
Just my opinion.
