Walk around your room? you do realize that tortoises poop. alot. Also, tortoises get stressed out really easily. He might not want to be your buddy. but a good tortoise for indoors is a russian

: Hi I was wondering what a good turtle/tortise would be good for me. I am new to the species but have had animals mostly all my life. Right now I have Fire Bellied Toads. I'm looking for an animal that can walk around my room and be my buddy. Nothing with Salmonella. And on the easier side to take care of. Of all the research I've done I sort of like the Bell Hinge back Tortise. And I'm sort or looking for a small to about 9 inches in size. Give me an email if you can help!
