: : Tortoises are creatures of habit and that includes food. What I would do is mix some different veggies and flowers in with his romaine, when he eats the romaine he will get the others along with it. Then start putting less and less romain in the food dish. Befor you know it...
: My tortoise, Skippy, seems to like dark colored foods and foods that have red in them. So I feed him a mix containing radicchio, red leaf romain, etc. and add some flowers-- red colored roses (with the hips), purple hibiscus flowers and so on. Oh and don't forget the occasional berry. Berries should be a treat and not part of the regular diet. Too many berries cause diarrhea and this is not good! I give Skippy fruit maybe twice a month.

: P.S. Tortoises can go an awfull long time with out food and remain healthy. So don't worry.
Thanks Eric. Actually, I went to the store today and bought different greens. We'll see what happens. She seems to be more active today, also. Maybe she is just shy and getting used to her environment. I won't worry. Thanks, again.
