These albinos are the result of breeding two captive hatched siblings to each other. The hatchlings are as hardy as any spurred tortoises I have ever hatched out. They have perfect shells. I would expect that once they are outside (in the sun) they would become even lighter. I expect them to do extremely well and become even more beautiful. Their eyes are not pink which would be very sensitive to light. Sometimes the eyes look black other times they appear a dark red color. The pictures I posted are very true to what they actually look like. I thank everyone for their comments and interest.
