Please help me! My Russian Tortoise, WILL NOT EAT! We have tried broccolli, cantalope, romain lettuce, carrots, mixed vegetables, watermelon, grapes, blueberries, radishes, celery, peaches, apples, bananas, and even earthworms! We have even tried to squeeze the juice of the berries on her mouth, but she doesn't want anything! We took her to a vet (we got her last thursday) monday, and the vet said that she was dehydrated and extremely thin. She weighs 218 grams? so the vet gave her a shot for rehydrating, and one to increase her appetite, but so far, no eating. We even purchased a vitalight (it keeps the tank at 90 degrees) and all she does is stay in her shelter and sleep! We have tried taking the shelter away, but she still sleeps. She won't even drink water. We let her crawl in a bowl of water, but we are out of ideas outside of trying to pry her mouth open, but that might make her mean. We don't know how old she is, but she is only about 8 inches in diameter. Please help!
