they do not naturally have a pyramided shell, though i'm sure s number of captive raised animals do, as with so many other species. i wish i could find those pictures i had to show you. must have deleted them. best of luck with your tortoise collection.

: I also read conflicting reports 1. that the radiated totrtoise's carapace has a natural pyramid and 2. it has a smooth capapace. The 3 inch one i have has a smooth carapace.
