I went to the show in Mesa this weekend to check out the tortoises. It seems like the shows are getting smaller every year, not nearly as many vendors as in past years (at least that's what I thought).
I think there were only hatching African Spurred, Leopards, Redfoots and a few wild caught Russians.
I think having a show in Phoenix/Mesa in August when it is 110 degrees could have prevented some of the vendors from attending, plus it seems like there are a lot more shows than there were a few years ago.
I imagine several people purchased torotises and will continue to rely on support from everyone here on how to take care of them!
Any comments on local shows, and what tortoises are available would be interesting to hear.
