Angel,
my largest sulcata will often come over and sit down right next to me. Not for food, they're fed at the same time daily and are always hanging out at grub time in the area I feed them.
She sits next to me because she wants her shell rubbed.Or sometimes if I'm out sunbathing she comes and sits under the recliner. Now this is going to sound crazy, but has anyone heard a sulcata "purr"?!!
I'm not kidding, Angel will stretch all her legs out when I rub her shell and totally relax. She then lets out a sound almost like a purr!
I know she recognises me as somebody who wont harm her, feeds her and gives her shell a good rub every now and then!
She also rams me on occassion too if I'm not watching out.
Like yesterday, I was trying to figure out where the ants were coming from when wham! Angel rammed
my ankles!
