Hi everyone: I have a question. I recieved a hatchling Sulcata for my birthday last year. I figure that it was a few months old; it had hatched some time last August. So I figure it to be a year old now. It eats lots of varied greens and timothy hay and allowed to graze on grass and clover. My question is: How big should he be by now. It is hard for me to tell since stupid me did not measure him when I got him. The Importer for the petshop came in with more sulcatas about the same size and weight, and he told me that after a year they should be the size of a Russian tortoise. Is this correct? Or is the importer Fedd a diet designed for quick growth-- high protein etc.?
