hello,
I am thinking about buying a redfoot but am having trouble finding a lot of information about them. I'm not quite sure how to set up an indoor habitat for winter.
1)What kind of substrate is best?
2)What is the optimum humidity level? Do I need a humidifier? If so, cold or warm spray?
3)We were thinking about using a kiddie pool inside. Is this ok for a hatchling or would a tank be better? What size tank?
4)Are they grazers?
5)Along w/ their vegetarian diet (we already have vegetarian lizards -- uromastyx, prehensile tailed skink, bearded dragon), should we use the tortoise pellets? With a good diet, would they really need them?
I'm sorry for so many questions but I feel that the more I know the better! Thanks.
Dave
