I share your opinion. I try to tell myself it's because of all those points you made, but part of it is selfish reason: I don't think I could give them (or sell them)! My torts will have no babies (just like my dogs and cat). This is my personal opinion and not meant to criticize anyone who chooses to breed their sulcatas; we all make our own choices for our own reasons.
