: Currently we feed Marrakech and Neuasa lettuce, brocolli, corn, sprouts, clover, dandelion, kale, occasional other greens that they'll eat... brusell sprout and cauliflowe greens, they also LOVE tofu, cooked oatmeal, or other grains, and will devour pasta. The vet says that pasta and proteins are bad. What else woiuld you suggest that they will LIKE to eat?
You're doing a good job of offering a wide variety of foods, just alot of high protein foods (and carbs--grains? pasta?)....check out this other link for lots of good info on feeding your torts. You can even order seed mixes or plants for your torts. What did they see the vet for? Are they physically well? Greek torts prefer broadleaf plants over grasses. Dandelions and clover is great, but try to add grape leaves, mulberry leaves, hibiscus flowers and leaves.
Good luck.
