Just because an animal comes out of wild does not necessarily mean the animal came from optimal conditions.
If any of my animals show any signs of pyramiding I always question what am I doing wrong? With some species like the leopards and stars I will accept some pyramiding but I still ask why because I know that they are capable perfectly smooth growth. Those animals do seem to have a genetic connection to a trend to pyramiding. In redfoots and yellowfoots I would seriously look at something missing if there were any signs of pyramiding.
