This is not correct. Russians can not only be transported across state line, without an inspection, they are also the most comingly imported (wild caught) tortoise in the U.S. along with Forest Hingebacks. Only African Spurred, Leopard and Bell's hingebacks were affected by the ban.

: i was in a pet store today, the girl there told me she saw on the internet just this week that they can no longer ship russians same as the sulcata ban. has anyone heard of this? any info out there? sonja
