I wouldn't worry too much, since turtles/tortioses
has survived for an extremely long time (millions
of years) and have found a way to deal
with the "flipping" problem.
But, it would be wise to lay out a turtle/tortoise
enclosure in such a way that the animal would
not get pinned upside down. Use common sense,
watch the animals for awhile, and then relax.
I've watched my russians and box turtles flip
over and right themselves very quickly. It's
the only way they could survive given the
body they have.
