I've got a red-footed tortoise that I got about 5 years ago. She's nice and healthy but she has stayed much smaller than what I would expect a red-foot to be. She was the 2nd tortoise I got. Since then I've gotten other tortoises, raised them from hatchlings to pretty good size. This red-foot is only about 6 in long. Since I was pretty ignorant when I purchased her, did I possibly get a dwarf red-foot? She's been to the vet for regular check-ups and she is perfectly healthy. I'm just very curious about why she has stayed small. I was told she was c.b. when I purchased her and I believe it since the store has always had an excellent reputation. Any ideas? She was already a couple of years old when I got her.
