Rocks is a major no-no. If you see them munching on rocks it is suspected that there might be some kind of mineral deficiency. (or maybe it just likes to eat rocks) either way it is not a good idea to let it do it.
: Is it important that tortoises eat off of rocks? I've heard this is a good idea. It's so that you don't have to trim them. Is this true?
: My Russian eats A LOT of food, and it's easier to put it all in a big dish, as it is less messy, but I want to do what's best for her (Olga).
