I would not use chicken eggshells. Mostly grit, and certainly not as good as calcium carbonate, Rep-Cal (USA) or Nutrobal (Europe).

Simple question - complicated answer! Many, many factors can be implicated. From grass seeds in the nares (nose) to nasal abcess, to bacterial, mycoplasma infections, to incorrect environment. No single solution or answer.

: Finally, I enjoyed your video "Identification of Mediterranean Tortoises"!!!!
