Once again Andy you've done it. Managed to twist a simple Fact into an issue. I think this is kind of commical.(which is why I persist). As far as knowing very little on the subject, you are right there but as this exchange goes on you are demonstrating quite well how little you appear to know on that very subject. If I misunderstand something and you think it is that important please by all means enlighten me.(press on bud)

: In any event, the FACTS are that carnivores have a typical stomach pH of <2.0, humans average about 3.0, and herbivorous mammals and reptiles tend to be in the >5.0-6.5 range. This is just how it is - for sound biological reasons....

Give me a reference for the range of herbivorous reptile.(common knoledge will not work)
