I recently aquired 2 Russian torts ( 1 wk ago ) from a young boy. He fed more fruits than he should have and I am not sure how consistently they were fed. I took them to the vet last week and he felt they were in good overall health. We got a weight check. One eats a considerably more than the other. I was wondering if there was something I could do to encourage the other one to eat. Not that it(she?) is not eatting anything, I'm just concerned. Also, I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but the one that eats well appears to be a male. I'm not sure about the other. The male shows mating behavior toward the other (biting, head bobbing, trying to mount). Could this have anything to do with the others eating behavior?
