Wouldn't that imply that humans (or any other animal) living in different parts of the world (or country) would have different chemistry due to different diets?
: "When are two dandelions not the same... when one is grown in my
: lawn."
: A theory on captive diets...
: A native flora grown within a natural occurring range will be of
: different chemical and nutritional value than the same flora grown
: outside of that range. I need a botanist to back me up here.
: ( I lack a degree in this as well )
: Everything which chemically makes up the dandelion would be absorbed
: through the soil. So a dandelion grown in the UK should in theory
: be suited more toward a european tortoise than the same dandelion
: grown in Arizona? With what effects would the UK dandelion vs the AZ have
: on a desert tortoise?
: ( This all leads back to giving better than in the wild )
: If anyone knows a botanist please invite them for this discussion.
