Leslie, I've taken my sulcata camping once [that's all we've been out so far]. He did great! Doesn't like the ride, as he paces constantly and overturned once so you gotta keep a careful eye on that, but as soon as we got to our destination [it was a state park that hub asked to see if they used pesticides first], I set him down and he immediately started chomping. Didn't seem to stress him out at all and I allowed him to roam the camper [travel trailer, too] during the day and put him in his temporary home at night. Seemed to work out fine! Good luck and happy camping!! Oh, by the way, Giovanni's got a great idea about a temporary outside pen, I'm gonna do that whenever the money allows.
