Eric,
I just wanted to add that I agree with you on voicing opinions and minimal blasting, but I don't agree with anybody giving book read medical opinions unless they have a degree to back it up, and are working in the field. This forum was created to give people in husbandry an outlet to get "experienced" advise on husbandry from people like us. If there is alot of arguing it will scare away the new comers, and they are the single most important asset on this forum, and helping them. If the forum is treated like a hash session room by a bunch of people that need to beat each other to death with their opinions, it is going to result in the death of a tortoise or tortoise's, and make those with little knowledge avoid it. My "FRIGGIN OPINION" is if you feel the need to get in "herp-it-all" arguments go to the
2 news groups that promote that behavior so you dont frighten away a young kid with a valid question that needs to be addressed.
( and that wasn't directed at you Eric, I was generalizing..lol..Hope you have a happy 4th)
Ciao'
Giovanni
