I agree, you don't want to toss them into a "strange"
environment all the time. I don't change everything
at once. His bed area is in the same place and
his water, sometimes I move the rest a bit in his
indoor enclosure. He gets personal attention too,
and in the morning he'll come over and sit watching
me change the water bowls and tend the other
critters. Outside there's plenty of interesting
stuff to see, but he's got his hide houses.
I added a large hibiscus bush to his pen along
with his small one now. That's fun to mess around
in. I also let him into the big yard a lot and
he gets to go into the front yard too when watched.
I've taken him to (grandma's! lol) my parent's
house (1 minute drive) in his carrier for a new
yard to explore too. He's pretty relaxed with ME
I know he recognized me personally and so if I'm
there, it's OK. (This is what I think and my
husband recognizes this behavior in him also). niki
