Doctors NOW will tell you to avoid eating too much spinach, etc. when you have a broken bone, and I pointed out that feeding a dog JUST carrots and celery would be bad, not that carrots were bad. I regularly give my dogs fruits and veggies, on top of, and as extras to their normal diet, which is the result of dog raising experience. It's also not MY experience but the culmination of everyone's, breeders, vets, etc.
: You are also not doing research, you are performing twisted little games with the life of an animal, which is a morally bankrupt action. If you want to do research, properly, then do so, plenty of information has been provided here on how you might do so.
: In any case, even a diet of 3 things that are good for a tortoise would be inadequate. Foraging animals have a diet that is altered by movement and seasonal changes to provide a balance over the long term.
