In Reply to: Russian tortoise, skin on his head is peeling "Help"! posted by Heather on August 21, 1999 at 15:11:21:
Well, it seems to me, that this sounds like a personal problem, however, I believe a doctor could perscribe a topical ointment for such a rudely-disgusting disease. thank you
P.S. I hope your "turtle" peeling problem clears up...you don't want any nasty scarring for the Missus.
: I have had my tortiose for over a year now and this summer the skin around his head has started to peel. He seems healthy enough, can anyone tell me what is wrong with him? Is it a vitamin problem? As he is going to start winding down soon for hibernation I want to sort the problem out with his shedding. Any advise welcome. Thanks.
