Some non-toxic plants appropirate for tortoise pens are
nasturtium, spider plant, petunia, pansy, viola/Johnny jump ups, geranium, Wandering Jew, hibiscus, hostas, carnation -
Hen and Chicks, Jade, cactus, and aloe vera are also appropriate, although they don't like damp/humid environments like a hingeback's.
Although not specifically geared at hingebacks, there are some plant lists on Annie's site
