tortoise poop :-)

A few messages down I asked about my new Russian tortoise. This is my first experience with a tortoise. I've had only box turtles before. They poop in water. I figured the same might be true with tortoises, since it "appeared" that mine wasn't. I was worried. It was only after cleaning his substract today that I discovered she had been "doing his thing" all alone... She was hidding it from me! LOL So... she seems to be healthy and normal in that area.

Also... no one warned me about how much tortoises eat. :-) Can you feed them too much? I feed lots of veggies. Fruit is only a treat once in a while.
