A vet on list said that yes, it could lower the core temperature. He didn't seem too concerned about it though.
I don't feed that many grocery greens either and mine don't have a problem with temperature so I am not that concerned about it.
Seems like it would be more of an issue for those who house theirs indoors, feed primarily grocery greens or it might be an issue for winter feeding conditions.
