get a digital thermometer and check your temps carefully. You want a basking area for your hatchling to be around 100 degrees. The cooler range should be around 80. What type of heat source are you using? If you are using a low watt bulb increase the wattage which will increase the heat. If you are already using a high watt bulb, add another heat lamp to increase the heat. Do you use an under the tank heater? Consider this. Babies need to be kept warm and comfy. Why did you cover the sides of the tank? My guys love to look out. They are in a 55 gal. tank. Make sure your vet is a qualified reptile vet.
