yup, 7 clutches is the norm beginning in april/may and ending sept/oct. For species in that cycle. My leopards start laying in sept/oct and end in april/may. I'm guessing they are on a southern hemisphere time schedule.
After you've had them a few years and breeding you will notice a schedule for your particular tortoises in your climate. When you talk to different people in different parts of the country you will notice different schedules but a similar basic pattern.
