Ok, well. I think this experiment is plain stupid. Why do you think that it is right, or even fair, to knowingly risk another beings health and potentially life, just because you have nothing else to do!!!! As far as the diet of ANY animal, all you need to do is take a close look at what that species eats in the wild. Do some research and find out the value of what it naturally eats. Then do some more research to see what the closest food that we can provide for them is. Then we feed it to them. They are eating a diet close to what nature would provide them, and we can safely assume any illness or death would not be related to it. If you think otherwise, maybe i should make you my guinea pig, force you to eat cow crap, mud, and a little bit of bark for flavor. See how well you respond so that i can go onto kingsnake and boast about my achievements that you survived!
: I have decided to try out an experiment this summer. I am going to raise a hatchling sulcata on chard, bok choy, spinach, kale, beet greens, and moderate amounts of legumes. Any predictions?
