Redfoot chipped shell

Hi, maybe someone may have some information, my adult redfoot, chipped the front portion of his shell, just behind his head, it dosen't appear to be to bad, but there was some very minor bleeding, is there something I can do, or apply,,, thanks
besides that, he does not show any discomfort,,
