I kept sulcata and Russians in Hawaii and they did great.
The Russians enclosure was built in the driest area of the yard.
A thick hedge ran along the back wall of the enclosure under the house eves, that area never got really wet.
As long as they have plenty of shelter from wet weather and the enclosure is never completely damp, they should do fine.
The sulcata had a dry shed to retreat to, neither species had a problem with the humidity.
If left in an exposed area where the ground is constantly damp, then problems will pop up. Respiratory, skin and shell.
