red foot with bad cut

over this past weekend i noticed my two year old redfoot had a bad cut on his hind foot. i put neosporine on it for a couple of days until i noticed him limping on it today. i called the vet and have an appointment for 10 am. the reason i waited was the bet herp vet in the area likes to be paid at the time of service and sometime won't see you unless he is paid right away. but anyway i think its some type of bite that goes all the way round his heel. i hope he will be okay he still is eating real good and is even real active even with his sore foot. i will put up a post on how he's doing early friday morning after work.
