: Man your house is cool! What do you have the AC set
: on?? Anyways, mine's set on 78 F during the day
: and night, but I keep Teddy's cage at night safe
: by using a ceramic heating element above just off of
: the entrance to his hay pile he sleeps in. This
: produces no light, just keeps the temp from dropping
: below 78 during the night. It's cooler inside the
: hay pile and cooler yet in other hay piles or
: parts of the cage, but he chooses to sleep there.
: Right now he's outside most of the day, and comes
: in in the evening around 6 p.m. to go to bed.
: I turn his cage lights on before bringing him in
: so his cage has a gradual cool down period for
: him to adjust to night time when I turn them off
: around 6:30 p.m.
: Consider a ceramic heater they produce no light
: (I tried the blue/black and red lights, both
: annoyed me though Teddy's cage is 44 ft. from my bed
: but I can see it.)

With 6 people in my house the AC gets adjusted all day long! My mom and stepdad like to have it cold, but I like it around 75 or so. Last night the enclosure dropped just below 70 and I don't think that is warm enough. I do have a ceramic heater but I don't have another fixture, which is what I was planning on getting if the temp got to low. So far my lil guy loves his new home, I got home from work today and he had rearranged his furniture already! LOL
