Finger pointing

I'm curious as to where my anger should be directed...

At the collector, who assembles thousands of Tort's, regardless of habitat distruction or needed breeding populations...?

At the shipper, who crams as many animals in as small as space as possible, regardless of the animals movement, food or water needs...?

At the distributor, who houses the animals in over crowded and highly disease stressed facilities, regardless of the future probability of the animals demise...?

At the retail store, who truly has so little knowledge of the animal ( even though it is readily available ) that it is sold without proper or complete instructions and wisked away without even a small hope of a long life...?

Or the retail customer, who will most likely ignore most of the instruction, drop the cute and interesting little critter in a 5 gallon tank and wonder in amazement why it stops eating, then moving...and finally living....in such a short period of time?

Can someone clarify this little issue for me...?
