The lizard litter that I said I use is not the desert blend, I guess I should have specified that. It is made by ESU Reptile and states on the package that it is made for reptiles of all types and specifically names Russians, Leopards and sulcatas to name a few. It is made from the Kenaf plant (whatever that is lol) I so far have not had any problems with this and it looks nice also. I used carefresh for awhile and my tort did not seem to like it, and it did not look as nice.
I would like to know more about the alfalfa pellets causing respiratory disease. Did your vet say how this happened Grape?
