: i've heard of some people's tortoises getting way stressed out in the car, but mine go in the car quite a bit. they don't seem to care much at all. just try to keep them from sliding around. keep the temperatures fairly consistant with what they are used to.... no sudden drops or really high temps. i'd make sure they were hydrated well. and put newspapers down in the box, mine seem to pee a lot when they are being transported! and just a little advice on the side, throw in an extra tshirt for yourself! i always managed to get peed on away from home. either by my own or when we are own checking out reptiles for the weekend! i keep wetwipes in the car too! lol sonja
