: Based mainly on personality and manageability. I have a 5" Sulcata that we find quite enjoyable but I wonder about others.

i have both sulcatas and redfoots which are very friendly that i've had for nearly 2 years. but i've just purchased 5 russian torts (about a month ago) who have already caught up if not surpassed the sulcatas and redfoots already. these little guys actually run (as fast as a tort can atleast)to me when i walk up, and eat right out of my hand. it took close to 6 months to get my sulcatas and redfoots to eat from my hand. and my leopard and eastern boxes (which i've had for close to a year) won't come out of their shells unless i'm 3ft away.
i vote russians (until i get my radiateds atleast)
