Give your buddies a little bath and use small artists brush to push off dead skin. I use this method once a week on our tortioses. Do not pull skin off, if it doesn,t push off, skin is not dead yet.Just wait till thier next bath. Your buddies will enjoy being cleaned. Tim : : I have had my tortiose for over a year now and this summer the skin around his head has started to peel. He seems healthy enough, can anyone tell me what is wrong with him? Is it a vitamin problem? As he is going to start winding down soon for hibernation I want to sort the problem out with his shedding. Any advise welcome. Thanks.
: like most reptiles, they all peel.
