In large part I agree with you, Tim. Unfortunately, though, simply refusing to go in to a Petco is not enough to stop the marketing of these little animals. The loss of the couple of hundred dollars a year I or anybody else on this forum might give to Petco for supplies wouldn't change their practices one bit. My earlier post about getting one of the Petco Russians (see below) is simply because I can't stand seeing an otherwise healthy animal being slowly killed through gross ignorance or stupidity.

Just my opinion though.
