I will soak every other day to avoid dehydration. I have spoken at length with a vet about the above foods, he feels that most of the mentioned foods are acceptable for tortoises. Obviously if I fed the animal only one of the above foods I would expect problems, but being that he will be offered a variety I think he will do fine.
